Privacy
The Gated Shifter is a private ownership platform in development. This page describes what we collect through the Founding Access applications and what happens to it.

What we collect
Only what you enter on the application: which path you applied through, your name, email, phone, location, and the details relevant to that path — your collection size, marques and defining automobile; your discipline, workshop and the work you are proud of; or your organization and area of partnership. We also record how you reached the form — a QR code placement, a tablet at an event, or the open web — and the date and time of your application.
Why we collect it
To reply to your application, to consider you for the Founders Registry, and to introduce you to the collectors, specialists and partners relevant to what you are looking for. Marketing updates are sent only if you ask for them.
Who sees it
The Gated Shifter, and the email service that delivers our messages to you. Your details are never sold, rented, or shared with other members without your agreement.
Deleting your information
Every email we send includes a deletion link in the footer. Opening it and confirming removes everything held under your email address — every application and enquiry, not only the one the link came from — along with your contact record in our email system, and sends you one final confirmation. You may apply again at any time afterwards.
You can also write to private@gatedshifter.co and ask us to delete your information.
After a deletion we keep only a record that a deletion happened, which holds no personal information — a one-way hash instead of your email — so we can evidence the request without keeping you.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed to consider or serve your application.
We keep one record per person. Submitting an application requires your explicit agreement that we may contact you about it and about the platform in future, and the date and time of that agreement is stored with your record.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Applications are written by our own server to a private database that is not reachable from a browser. Access to member records is limited to named operators who sign in individually, and every sign-in and every export is recorded. IP addresses are stored only as a one-way hash, used to limit abuse of the form.
